Trellis Love

While I have been on death's doorstep with a hantavirus*, Bill has been busy outside building the new trellis. It still needs to be painted, but it's one more thing to cross off the Very Long List of backyard improvements. In the fall, we'll move the kiwi vine that is struggling on the side of our house over to the new trellis and hopefully next year we'll get to enjoy our first crop of hardy kiwis.

* Ok, it wasn't actually a hantavirus. It was an "acute allergic reaction to something ingested or inhaled". But it was horrible, and I'm pretty sure rivaled anything that ebola could throw at a person. Except for the coughing up blood -- thank goodness it never came to that.

For those people still keeping track, here is our backyard to-do list.
